Description
Community Bridges provides meals, transportation, nutritional subsidies and education, child care, individual/family/parenting/community services to elderly, ill, impoverished, disabled and/or low income individuals, families and children. Its mission is to offer family resources and education while providing WIC program evaluation for qualifying low-income families. Meals on Wheels is funded by the US Department of Health and Human Services and has provided 376,462 home-delivered meals to over 1,300 seniors in FY 21/22. Program areas at Community Bridges

The Child and Adult Care Food Program, using U.S. Department of Agriculture funding awarded by the CA State Department of Education, provided 1,687,587 meal subsidies to children and adults at more than 450 licensed day care centers in FY 22/23.
The CTSA Lift Line program expended $2,229,655 to provide 50,913 rides to senior and the disabled.
The Early Education Division, using primarily California Department of Education funding, operates five state funded and one private pay early education site across Santa Cruz County. In FY 22/23, there were 124 children that attended 10,676 classroom days.
