Program areas at Community Coordinated Care for Children

Early Care and learning (school readiness) - provides income eligible families access to child Care financial assistance, Children's developmental and hearing and vision screenings. Through child Care resource and referral, families select the caregiver of their choice and Children are enrolled in any legally operating child Care setting in central Florida. Early educators prepare Children to enter school ready to learn and provide the foundation for lifelong success.
Head start/early head start/early head start childcare partnership/early head start expansion - federally funded programs serving pregnant women and Children up to age 5 not in school. Program addresses the wholistic needs of Children to ensure appropriate physical, social, and emotional development. Health, mental health, nutritional, and educational needs of Children are assessed early so Children enter school ready to learn and achieve lifelong success. Usda food program - accounts for resources received from the state of Florida department of health to subsidize meal costs for eligible Children under the national school lunch and child nutrition acts.
Voluntary pre-k - enrolls eligible Children in quality early learning programs to prepare them for kindergarten. Age and Florida residence are criteria for eligibility.

Neighborhood centers for families - accounts for family support resources of thirteen neighborhood centers, funded through orange county government citizen's commission for Children.
