Affordable Housing program preserves, constructs and rehabilitates Housing units in lincoln county, Oregon to provide rental and home ownership opportunities for those who cannot afford market rate Housing. Nwch advocates for, develops and manages safe, decent shelter for low-income families, individuals recovering from mental illness and drug or alcohol addictions, veterans, and supported Housing for developmentally disabled people. Nwch also provides resident services including health and nutrition workshops, Community gardens, kid's club, social activities and referrals, conflict resolution services, plus first-time homebuyer classes, and financial fitness education. Yaquina breeze apartments in newport, Oregon offer 9 units of supportive Housing for persons with mental health issues including ptsd disabilities and drug/alcohol addictions, earning less than 50% of area family adjusted gross income. Resident services are provided by lincoln county health and human services department. Golden eagle ii in tillamook Oregon offers 32 apartments for seniors and low-income individuals and families and was acquired in 2021. Coastal phoenix rising in lincoln city Oregon offers 38 units to homeowners displaced due to unforeseen events such as wildfires as well as those in need of shelter and/or referred by area agencies. This former hotel was acquired in 2021 and is now used as a shelter. Nate's place was acquired in 2023 and is currently Housing homeless individuals with substance use disorders referred by reconnections counseling. Nwch is currently working on 4 additional Housing projects in lincoln county, Oregon.
Spyglass ridge lp is a partnership formed to acquire, rehabilitate, and operate an 80 unit apartment complex known as spyglass ridge apartments (the ridge) located in lincoln city, Oregon. The ridge rents all of its units to low-income individuals and families and is operated in a manner necessary to qualify for low-income Housing tax credits as provided under section 42 of the internal revenue code. The ridge shall continue in perpetuity and is subject to u.s. department of Housing and urban Development (hud) provisions, laws and regulations for the term of its hud insured loan. As noted above, the ridge provides 80 units of affordable family Housing with 72 units at 60%, 6 units at 50% or less of the area family adjusted median gross income. Nwch offers resident services at the ridge.
