Program areas at Community Foundation for Metrowest

Grantmaking programs. We provide support to our nonprofit partners in the region through multiple annual grant programs each year. These include areas of focus of human services, hunger relief, arts & culture, youth development, environment, and emergency relief.
Youth in philanthropy. Each year, we run 10-12 youth in philanthropy programs across Metrowest, that engages 200+ young people ages 12-18 in this experiential leadership program. Students learn about philanthropy and nonprofits, read real grant applications, conduct site visits, and support the Foundation in determining where to grant funds within our Community.
Action projects. We continue to focus on our deeper, more strategic Community investments in the area of equity in education, workforce development, and our newest one launched in 2023 housing and homelessness prevention.
