The americorps members are used as Community Health workers or peer recovery supporters in both Washington county and regionally. Reimbursement for expenses do not cover program cost. Sustaining the program is dependent on revenue from other programs.

Purpose of the project was to set up a partnership between hopewell, several local Health departments and three insurers to explore the use of Community Health workers in improving Health and reducing cost. Work to date has focused on partnership formation,sustainability and model implementation.
