PERFORMANCE SEASON WHICH INCLUDED: BLACK HISTORY CONCERT @ ST. LUKE THE EPISCOPAL CHURCH PHILLY SOUL CONCERT @ MILLER OUTDOOR THEATRE LEGACY PROJECT @ COMMUNITY ARTIST COLLECTIVE HOLMAN BUILDING AND PROGRAMMING STORAGE Goal of the season is to showcase Black Music traditions by presenting a representative sample of black music genres including classical music written by black composers as well as spirituals jazz and Rhythm & Blues. Our legacy project concert and archival history honors artists and teachers who have made significant contributions to lack music traditions and works to preserve and present their history to the present and coming generations. Our audiences' demographics varies but usually at least 51% of our audience is Black with audience totals of about 3,000. Currently our concerts are free to the public.

Robinson wedding Cosby wedding MLKJr Concerts at Rothko Chapel and Wheeler Ave Baptist Church AFRICAN AMERICAN MUSEUM DALLAS GIG ORCHESTRA GIGS IN HOUSTON DELTA SORORITY & BAKER HUGHES CROWN ROYAL PRODUCTION YOUTH ORCHESTRA GIGS EMANCIPATION PARK Above event's presents CMCH's musical groups like our predominantly Afro-American chamber orchestra to a paying public. UMBRELLA'D ORGANIZATIONS' PROGRAMMING - to assist other organizations who may not have a 501c3 status with their programming.
MUSIC EDUCATION Provide one-on-one teaching to children and adults. We have taught many instruments but currently focus on stringed instruments and the piano. Lessons occur either online or at the Teachers' homes. Once we have renovated the building lessons will be held there.
