We successfully organized 6 Cougar Career Days and 9 Pop Up Clubs, providing 272 Sleeping Giant Middle School (SGMS) students with opportunities to engage with their local community. Through 7 job shadow placements, students gained hands-on experience in various fields, contributing to a total of 4,540 student hours spent exploring future career options. Our partnerships with 64 local businesses and organizations have been instrumental in this effort, with these community partners generously sharing their knowledge. Additionally, our dedicated network of volunteers contributed 2,712 hours mentoring youth and supporting career exploration programs. This year, CSC also grew its staff, expanding from 1.5 to 3 full-time employees to better meet the needs of the programs and students we serve. For the first time, CSC acquired central office space in downtown Livingston, solidifying our presence in the community and enhancing our ability to coordinate efforts and serve the youth of Park County.
