Residential Services - Community Services for Every1, Inc. offers a variety of different housing options to meet every person's needs. Our residences are inviting and have comfortable homes that range from independent apartment living options to houses with 24-hour staff assistance. Group-style iras have 24-hour on-site staff support. Apartment-style iras have two levels of on-site staff supervision with a supported (staff on-site 24/7) setting. Our emergency residence can provide temporary housing to individuals with developmental disabilities who are in need of a place to live. Emergency residences also provide site-based respite in an overnight capacity to people with developmental disabilities. All of our houses have access to a site van, and many are wheelchair accessible. Community Services offers a variety of low-income rental apartments to individuals of any ability. Amenities include a private bath, bedroom, kitchen and living room. There are also on-site laundry facilities and other options in some of the apartments. All apartments are located on major bus routes, making travel easy. Rent includes most utilities.
Self-direction Services - through the self-directed plan you can choose what resources you need and hire your own staff to build a circle of support in your Community. This choice-based program is designed to promote your independence and build your confidence as an individual as you manage and take charge of your success.
Group day hab Services - Community Services for Every1, Inc. offers three certified day habilitation site-based programs for adults with developmental disabilities. Our certified programs are provided monday through friday at our 2180 genesee street, 1377 abbott road, and 175 humphrey street locations. All programs offer recreation and ongoing volunteer opportunities. Transportation is provided to and from the facilities. Day habilitation programs focus on skills and activities that lead to increased independence in the home, school, job, and Community. Programs are site-based and community-based. Day habilitation programming helps people improve their self-help, socialization, adaptive skills, and promotes Community inclusion and integration. Activities, such as volunteer opportunities, bowling, and dances, are designed to develop these skills and help people achieve greater independence, Community inclusion, build relationships and more.
Community Services offers a variety of low-income rental apartments to individuals of any ability. Amenities include a private bath, bedroom, kitchen and living room. Community habilitation is provided within the comfort of the person's home setting. A person can work on a variety of individual goals including household maintenance, budgeting, safety, mobility training and more. Our dedicated direct support professionals provide these in-home supports which allow those served to focus on abilities and build their skills to meet personal goals. Community Services offers a variety of supportive employment and vocational training Services to ensure that we support the development of work skills and connect people with intellectual and developmental disabilities with competitive employment opportunities. These trainings include developing soft skills and opportunities to work in internships that lead to permanent employment in Community businesses. Program participants also attend job readiness classes, receive increased job development and job coaching Services, and develop other work-related skills, and create a plan to achieve employment.community Services offers a variety of supports with the goal of improving access to domestic violence Services and prevention education for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (i/dd). These Services include transitional housing financial assistance, safety planning, and case management related to advocacy, linkage and referral to programs for victims and survivors of domestic violence.
