Community Sharing Program provides resources and life skills to South Lane County community members for self-sufficiency. The program helps reduce homelessness by assisting with rent payments and move-in costs, and has expanded to accept additional housing programs due to COVID-19. Program areas at Community Sharing Program

Provides emergency food boxes, supplies for homeless individuals, emergency shelter, special assistance to the Hispanic community, assistance with prescription drugs, transportation, information and referral. Approximately 581,000 pounds of food were distributed this year. In addition, 141 households received services related to laundry, water and other services from the community service center.
Distributes financial aid for energy bill assistance. Provided assistance to 436 households this year.
Assists with rent payments and move-in costs to reduce homelessness and encourage self-sufficiency. 121 Families were provided assistance this year.
