Community Engagement/Aging in Community/Mental Wellbeing Programs and events for involvement, education, and mental/emotional well-being (175 activities and events, >1,000 individuals participating in total more than 3500 times), Neighbors Network for urgent communications and response to needs (30 volunteer "captains" serving all 800 households in Lyme), Telephone outreach to neighbors (500+ calls), Community Partnerships with other Lyme and regional organizations (20 active, ongoing collaborations in service)
Central Information Resource Help Line answered every day for direct response and referrals (>300 incoming calls and emails), Website with resources and information updated at least weekly, Community Calendar a curated list of Lyme and local events of interest, Weekly Updates with news, events, well-being tips, and inspirations (distribution to over 1750 individuals, in Lyme and across the region), Organizations & Services Directory with Lyme and local resources.
Direct assistance Lyme Food Pantry with food for any who need it (670 packages to 50 different households, involving 20 volunteers), Jenks Fund for support with small urgent needs and spirit lifters (175 individuals), Welcome Fund to support Afghan refugees and others displace by challenging circumstances (18 individuals) in Lyme and nearby communities.
