Program areas at Compass

Hiv prevention - provides free hiv testing,outreach, education counseling and linkage to care, both on-site and throughout the community. In the last calandar year, Compass conducted 767 unique hiv tests and 281 personal counseling sessions, 11,625 face to face/telehealth interactions, 767 prep/npep screening and referrals, and distributed 4,832 personal health stories and nearly 141,442 condoms within the last year. Compass remains the most successful hiv prevention program in the county when it comes to identifying newly diagnosed lgbtq individuals.
Hiv care services (ryan white part a & 340b) provides direct support services throught an outstanding medical case management care team for people living with hiv in palm beach county. Last contract year, over 593 clients received vital medical and non medical health services including food resources, early intervention services, eligible medication payments for antiretrovirals and other comorbiditiries, temporary housing support, onsite clinical services for other sti and medical, mental health, medical transportation, emergency financial assistance and health insurance premium and co-pay assistance.
Compass youth and families program provides social-support, mentoring, personal development, comprehensive sexual health education and community organizing for lgbtq youth and their familiies in palm beach county. In this last fiscal year, Compass provided life saving social services to 201 unduplicated youth with 325 hours of social and supportive services and activities, 1194 hours of individual therapy sessions and 200 hours of group therapy sessions and 179 youth and adults contacted Compass for youth program services and resources.
Outreach program provides program and services that are unfunded or partially funded through fundraising and fee for service activities including lgbt senior programming, center support group and activities, volunteer and community organizing. Positive community engagement is achieved through outreach, donor and constituent activities such as cocktails for Compass, stonewall ball, palm beach pride, thr pride business alliance, community collaborations and other significant annual events.
