Post Release facilitates a continuum of care and provides support for children transitioning into their new communities. Children released from the care and custody of the Office of Refugee and Resettlement into the community need physical and emotional safety; access to services and support that meet their individual needs and allow them to cultivate and preserve family and community relationships; and protection from abuse, abandonment, neglect, and other harm.
