Program areas at Compassion Center of Nwa

The Compassion Center of Nwa is committed to raising the standard of living in northwest Arkansas by extending help, love, and dignity to our neighbors in northwest Arkansas. Our feed 479 ministry is a choice food pantry that serves the food insecure of northwest Arkansas through our main pantry 4 times a week and at 3 mobile pantries monthly. The pantry is open to all regardless of financial status and our neighbors can shop every 30 days to choose food that fits their preferences and dietary circumstances. (continued on schedule o)compassion, Nwa also helps new foster and adoption families by providing each child with a suitcase containing 2 weeks of freshly laundered clothing, seasonal items, and toiletries. The family receives access to the choice pantry and the child is provided a personalized snack basket to provide comfort that food will always be available to them. Compassion provides men who have a criminal history with food, some essential home goods, and clothing to help them re-establish a residence and employment opportunities.
