For the past two decades, charlottesville and albemarle youth have imagined brighter futures at c4k. Through access, supportive mentors, and generous local partners,c4k offers participants space to see themselves within an engaged community of technology and learning.filled with tools that unlock creative potential, our c4k clubhouse is a place for making amazing things happen. Located in downtown charlottesville, our space fosters curiosity and enables the confidence-building explorations that power all our programs.discovery is our guide. From 3d printing, to game development, to animation, youth and mentors build relationships as they create and grow together. These connections bridge gaps and expand opportunities. We believe every young person deserves the chance to make a brighter future happen.in fy23: -112 youth spent time learning steam skills alongside mentors and peers, spending nearly 4,500 hours at c4k. -59 unique youth regularly met 1-to-1 with adult mentors (for more than 2,300 mentored hours). -40 workshop sessions were held with 49 unique member participants. Workshops included: build an internet, app design, filmmaking, intro to astronomy, and cybersecurity.
