Noninsured benefits of $55,826 were paid to members upon death of dependents. Monthly survivor benefits of $1,307,129 were paid to enrolled surviving dependents of deceased workers who death occurred prior to 7/1/01. Insurance premiums of $7,200,256 were paid to provide lump sum death benefits for members and benefits for dependents.

Disability benefits paid by a third party administrator of $8,225,520 to 1,223 members. In addition, there was miscellaneous expense of $99,932.

Health insurance contributions of $11,993,818 were paid for disabled workers and also for surviving dependents of deceased members who deaths occurred prior to January 1, 1985.
