Program areas at ConnecTeach
Connecteach began its second year of dell-funded grant with hope foundation and affiliated schools, providing on-site and online training and support to 18 schools, 10,091 students, and 93 teachers.
Connecteach is entering its fifth year of partnership with an urban slum school in hyderabad, andhra pradesh, both run by hope foundation, an ngo. This school, located in habisguda, hyderabad serves a community of approximately 2,500 families. The school serves about 130 students from upper kindergarten through 4th grade with 7 teachers.
Connecteach is entering its fifth year of partnership with hope foundation primary school in chennai, located in kannagi nagar slums. This school serves a community of about 16,000 families. They have over 300 students from lower kindergarten through 8th grade, and about 20 teachers.
Connecteach began its second year of online training and support to students in al aqsa university in gaza, serving about 60 students.
Connecteach entered its first year of partnership with walugogo teacher training college in uganda, working with 392 teachers in the iganga district.
Connecteach partnered with navajo prep school and smu to host a conference on education as a human right, focusing on indigenous rights, at the navajo school in farmington, nm.
Connecteach worked with students in our partner schools to compile a poetry anthology. This work was sponsored in part by the american endowment foundation.
