Program areas at Connected Foundation
The Connected Foundation provided mental health services to hundreds of the most in need kids and families in Washington DC through Connected Psychology, our psychological services program. Connected Psychological Services Inc., a wholly owned, fiscally sponsored, related organization who provides the most in need kids and families with free developmentally based psychological services.
The Connected Foundation held multiple retreats in 2023, both in the US and in Ecuador as 2023 became our most active year in this area since we set out on this mission. Our retreats ranged from a 7 day silent mindfulness retreat for women at the Virginia properties to a 5 day meditation retreat in partnership with Beyond Coaching, in Vilcabamba Ecuador. We also granted/donated $175,000 to the Earth Games personal development retreat center project who hosts mindfulness and personal development retreats in Ecuador.
The Connected Foundation expanded its technical and financial literacy research and development programming with a fiscal sponsorship of the NeoMiami Community project. This project is innovating in the areas of economic empowerment, social entrepreneurship and community governance using internet blockchain technology. We hired a program manager to lead the NeoMiami Community initiative. This program is focused on financial and technical education for the most in need. We also gave multiple grants to blockchain technical education organizations.
