Bay Area Street Pantry, a project of The Conservancy Corp, is dedicated to eradicating hunger in Oakland and surrounding communities. Our mission is to provide immediate access to safe, nutritious, and sufficient food throughout the year, transforming the lives of those affected by economic challenges. Through weekly distributions, innovative programming, and strong advocacy efforts, we empower our community members to transition from food insecurity to self-sufficiency. We are committed to improving the well-being of the economically challenged, food-distressed, and growing homeless population in the Bay Area, striving to make a meaningful difference in their lives."
Edfu Foundation: Our mission is to enhance human dignity by eradicating racism, social inequity, and structural violence. To achieve this, we utilize technology and the teachings of our ancestors to instill self-esteem, self-love, and self-worth among individuals. By developing programs that reconnect the Diaspora and establish safe environments for positive self-expression, we aim to sustain, preserve, and restore our cultural heritage and history.
The International Civil Society Working Group for the PFPAD initiative is dedicated to driving transformative social change. We are committed to fostering a future where individuals can recover from the impacts of colonial trauma and flourish within their cultural identities.
