Desert livability - formalized the desert livability program and hired a part-time staff to lead the program; held monthly team roundtable meetings open to the community; authored monthly educational publications on livability topics; monitored current/potential impacts to overall community livability; advocated for smart growth principles; advocated for coordinated land use and transportation planning; educated and engaged the public around smart growth issues; participated in two public comment periods, including analyzing dixie metropolitan planning organization's 2023-2050 regional transportation plan and provided feedback for better incorporation of smart growth principles.
