Board development - cossba is a non-partisan, national alliance dedicated to sharing resources and information to support, promote and strengthen State School Boards Associations as they serve their local School districts and board members. Cossba focuses on providing the following: support for the work of State School Boards Associations through effective staff collaboration, networking, and shared resources. This support includes both in-person and virtual programming and events aimed at improving non-profit governance and providing timely and relevant information to local School board members and State association leadership; networking opportunities for local School board members and association board members to enhance their effectiveness through in-person and virtual programming and events; tracking and sharing federal education issues, policies, and judicial decisions that impact local School Boards and the work of State Associations; and a shared resources library to support the work of the State Associations and local School Boards.
