Offers educational programs to expand knowledge in Construction areas.1. Craft training: provide access to and support for abc members to utilize the nccer curriculum to train their non-registered apprentice craftspeople.2. Registered apprenticeship (mn): as described in the agreement and declaration of trust creating the Construction Education Foundation of Minnesota (the "trust agreement"), the trustees of the cef "fund a bona fide apprenticeship training program and craft training program sponsored by Minnesota chapter of associated builders and contractors, inc., by establishing a system of voluntary contributions by contributing employers to this trust fund which contributions will be used to pay the operating expenses of apprenticeship training and other craft training programs relative to the Construction industry in Minnesota." This includes providing access to and support for abc members to utilize the nccer curriculum to train their registered apprentice craftspeople, register apprentices with mn dli under cef standards of apprenticeship, track ojt and tri progress, track safety training, track adherence to wage schedules, prepare annual compliance review for mn dli.3. Registered apprenticeship (nd): register apprentices with theunited states department of labor ("dol") under abc standards ofapprenticeship, provide rti through local tech school, track ojt andrti progress, track adherence to wage schedules, prepare compliancereview for dol.4. Merit shop scholarship program: solicit contributions from abcmn/nd members, solicit applications from listed participants, compilecompleted applications for cef trustee review, process awards, sharesuccess stories with contributors.5. Safety services: bulk purchase service hours from safety partneroecs, sell hours to abc member companies providing them with a discount(all profits to the cef), and track hours.6. Step: support abc members completing their step applications, printcertificates, organize delivery of certificates, provide plaques forhigh-level earners.8. Safety committee: organize regular meetings for abc member safetydirectors and others involved with safety to discuss current issues andpromote best practices.9. Mnosha partnership: organize application/renewal process for abcmember companies in mn to participate in mnosha partnership. Attendcooperative compliance partnership jobsite safety audits and preparecertificates for participating companies.10. Management training: provide opportunities for abc member companiesto train their field/office leaders. Trainings delivered throughthird-party providers and cef compensated instructors.11. Community outreach: participate in outreach events both inpartnership with project build mn and representing cef. Makepresentations at career fairs, cbo training programs, constructionteacher conference, and with industry partners.
