Program areas at CHPA
Task group initiatives: members provide funding, in excess of membership dues, to task groups in order to educate consumers and promote safe and effective use of specific over-the-counter ingredients and/or to support scientific, regulatory, and legislative issues.
Government affairs: educate federal and state policy makers on the value of otc medicines and dietary supplements, and advocate for policies that promote their safe use.
Regulatory & scientific affairs: monitor events of interest to our members and the industry regarding otc and nutritional Products to federal regulatory agencies.
Communications & public affairs, policy & legal, corporate development, and annual meeting.
