Contra Costa Senior Legal Services ("CCSLS") offers numerous programs designed to serve elders in the community, as summarized below. During the year ended June 30, 2023, CCSLS received pro-bono legal services amounting to $430,887.
Resident Empowerment ProgramREP provides screening, education and legal counsel to residents of Residential Care Facilities for the Elderly (RCFE).Homeownership Protection for EldersThis initiative protects seniors from losing their homes and/or equity due to debt, scams, and elder abuse.
Education & Trainings---------------------CCSLS provides educational presentations on topics such as elder abuse, identity theft and legal documents.Elder Abuse Prevention ProjectEAPP protects seniors from many forms of abuse including physical, psychological, emotional and financial.
