Program areas at CooperRiis

Cooperriis, mill spring, nc location (farm): our mill spring facility accomodates up to 36 adults on its rural campus in mill spring, north carolina (polk county). See schedule o for more information.
Cooperriis, asheville community program: after a stay of 30 to 60 days at our Cooperriis at asheville facility, about 10% of residents transition into our farm program which represents about 15% of the farm total admissions. Also, after a stay of four to six months at our mill spring nc farm campus, about 30% of residents transition into our asheville community program. Our asheville community program offers five community transitional homes (level b) which can accomodate up to 22 residents. Our asheville community program also has residents that are living independently of Cooperriis (level c). At june 30, 2023, there were approximately 12 residents in the level c program.
Cooperriis, asheville, nc: our Cooperriis at asheville facility accomodates up to 24 adults on its urban campus in asheville, north carolina (buncombe county). See schedule o for more information.
The partial hospitalization program (php) is a highly structured day program in downtown asheville, nc. With a strong wellness approach, the holistic program focuses on psychosocial needs and skills building. Each member participates five hours per day in group and/or individual therapy as well as case and medication management.
