Copland House is devoted to sustaining and administering aaron Copland's national historic landmark home as a creative cetner for american music, and to nurturing and renewing america's musical heritage through a broad range of musical, educational, public, informational, and electronic-meida activities, including composer residencies, a touring resident chamber music ensemble, in-school programs, concerts, boradcasts, recordings, lectures and other public presentations. Copland House programs provide important professional support to gifted composers, and foster an enhanced public awareness and appreciation of american music. These activities serve local, regional, and national constituencies, ranging widely from young school children thourgh senior citizens.
