Also processed soils from other research initiatives, such as the post-fire biofiltration initiative.
Education and research committees. Organizational development with Regenerate Change. Held collective meetings with all members, board of directors, and science committees. Hosted in-person retreat. Distributed educational materials, art bundles, and thank you gifts to volunteers and donors. Hosted 8 educational work parties.
Fungi and soil characterization in polluted and restored systems. Characterized fungi and soils from contaminated sites in Los Angeles, including brownfield sites contaminated with metals to work towards fungi and heavy metals research initiative; worked to characterize microbes and soils in degraded and polluted ecosystems throughout California.
