Corporation for Public Broadcasting facilitates the development of non-commercial programming and ensures universal access to high-quality telecommunications services through educational licensees. As the steward of the federal government's investment in public broadcasting, CPB is the largest single source of funding for public radio, television, and related online mobile services. Its mission is to ensure that innovative radio and television programming and educational projects are supported. Each month, over 100 million Americans watch public television. CPB is located in Washington, DC.

Program services: development and support of high quality new and innovative radio and television programming and educational projects that may not otherwise be supported by the commercial marketplace. Each month, over 100 million americans watch Public television and more than 32 million explore Public television content online. Each week, approximately 44 million americans experience Public radio content across all platforms.
System support: support of the development of Public telecommunications through grants to more than 350 Public television and 1,200 Public radio stations as well as grants to other entities for purposes of research and other support for Public media.
