Program areas at Cottonwood Chamber of Commerce
The Chamber is a local information visitor center through the Arizona office of tourism. We maintain the visitor information center providing information to 5,950 visitors from july 1, 2022 - june 30, 2023. Distributed over 2,500 visitor's guides both locally & nationally and participated &/or sponsored 6 local events. Maintained tourism and member website.
Provided support to approximately 393 business members and other members through 60 networking events, including monthly breakfasts, mixers, annual dinner & board installation, ribbon cuttings, Chamber websites and social media. Also, provide marketing opportunities through printed member directory, monthly newsletter and displayed member's brochures for tourist and residents. 3 publications have member listings.
Member of Cottonwood economic development council and yavapai county workforce development board. Partner with yavapai college, nacog, des and goodwill sponsoring our annual verde valley job fair. Worked with the city of Cottonwood, Cottonwood economic development council, verde valley wine consortium, old town association, yavapai college foundation, local first and sedona-verde valley tourism council to promote the community.
