Mental health therapy services: Council for Relationships provides mental health counseling and psychotherapy as it relates to Relationships for individuals, couples, and families at 9 offices and multiple community based locations throughout greater philadelphia. More than 45,000 hours of services are provided by over 80 full- and part-time clinicians and 70 clincians in training annually. Clinicians are trained in a variety of disciplines and include therapists, psychologists, psychiatrists, licensed social workers, clergy, and other mental health professionals. Fees are assessed on a sliding fee scale based on income, level of care, and clinician expertise.
Education services: Council for Relationships offers virtual and in-person education programs for licensed and unlicensed clinicians and clinicians in training. The couple and family therapy programs are accredited by the commission on accreditation for marriage and family therapy education. The post-graduate certificate program includes a clergy track, as well as a sex therapy certificate program (accredited by the american association of sexuality educators, counselors, and therapists). The master's degree program of family therapy operates within thomas jefferson university's college of health professions. The faculty and clinical supervisors for the program are Council for Relationships' staff and student clinical placements are within Council for relationship locations.
