Program areas at CONO
EDUCATION: CONO provides resources for neighborhoods to build leaders and sustain powerful neighborhoods. We provide 2, 10 week Neighborhood University programs per year to teach neighbors on topics of public process, development and housing and advocacy.
EQUIPPING: CONO equips neighbors with toolkits and resources to implement activities in their communities. Some examples are board trainings, neighborhood beautification, safety initiatives and more.
ENGAGEMENT: CONO provides opportunities for neighbors to engage with each other and local government officials. A few of the programs include permitting for block parties and dumpsters for neighborhood clean ups.
