Casa of Ellis County is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of abused and neglected children in Ellis County. Casa recruits, trains and supervises volunteers who are selected to act as Court Appointed Special Advocates (casa) to be a voice for the child in Court. Casa of Ellis County serves 100% of children removed from their homes in Ellis County. Additionally, 100% of the children Appointed to the program are assigned a casa volunteer advocate. During the current fiscal year, casa of Ellis County served 87 children on 57 cases with 58 casa volunteer Advocates. See schedule o for more information.
