Court Appointed Special Advocates of Monterey County recruits, trains, and supports community volunteers who advocate for the best interests of children placed in foster care. They ensure that these children receive critical services and loving support throughout their journey in the system. Additionally, CASA began providing advocates to youth in juvenile justice in 2022. As of June 30, 2022, they have served a total of 178 children.

Casa of Monterey County recruits, train, and supports community volunteers who advocate for children and youth in foster care. In 2022 we also began providing casa Advocates to youth in juvenile justice. As of june 30, 2023 we served a total of 174 children and youth across the County.
