Program areas at Creating Caring Communities
Creating Caring Communities (ccc) was created as a means to live out jesus christ's command to "love your neighbor as yourself and "go into all the world and make disciples baptizing them in my name." The organization hires, trains and supervises individuals who have a deep abiding faith in jesus christ, are active members in a local christian church, and who are devoted to loving and serving all people with god's love with a focus to lead others to the truth in jesus christ. Teams are recruited from local churches, who Creating Caring Communities partners with, to share the gospel of jesus christ. These individuals move into apartment Communities and offer spiritual care and biblically based programs to apartment residents. The intent is to model the life and ministry of jesus christ by operating children's clubs, sports events, welcome visits, community activity meetings, feeding, Caring for and praying with apartment residents, exercise classes, marriage-parenting classes. In doing so wedevelop the community life and atmosphere at the apartment complex, enhancing the life of the residents and in the process see individuals accept jesus christ as their personal lord and savior through the modeling of his care and love for them.each activity conducted by the trained individuals is designed to model the life of christ through practical activities and actions which are needed by or beneficial to the person and the apartment community as a whole.initially ccc implemented the Caring community program into four apartment complexes. Due to the receptivity of residents and the success of the Caring community teams ccc has expanded over the last several years. Currently ccc has hired and placed eight teams in eight apartment Communities providing spiritual care and biblically based programs to approximately 2600 plus residents.creating Caring Communities' long term plans over the next 10 years are to implement the Caring community program in the greater northern California region. We are currently building relationships and casting our vision with churches in redding, ca.
