Bangkok 1899: Creative Migration developed bangkok 1899, a cultural and civic hub in bangkok thailand, through historic property restoration (august to december, 2018 - continued into 2019), with the mission to advance cultural diplomacy through the three pillars of art, public engagement and sustainability. The organization's programming consists of three primary strands: transmedia projects; site-specific, temporary installations; and artist residencies & Creative hubs.neutra vdl residency: Creative Migration provided an artist research residency for 2 weeks, through october 10, 2018, and a one day artist talk at the historic neutra vdl house in silver lake, los angeles.
Special projects supported by Creative migration:a. Content creators coalition (artist advocacy) - a membership based, artist-run non-profit advocacy based group representing creators in the digital landscapeb. The fainting club (women's empowerment) - an old boys' club, for girls. It celebrates and draws Creative women from multiple disciplinesartists, writers, filmmakers, chefs, musicians and welcomes any and all like-minded souls.all activities are to fulfill our nonprofit's mission: to advance cultural diplomacy through the three pillars of art, public engagement and sustainability.
