To provide victims/survivors emotional support, information, resources and referrals. We are here to listen, to support and assist. Our services are free of charge and offered in two languages. Through our Network with other service providers, we aim to provide the most comprehensive services possible. To provide victim-centered, comprehensive services to Victims of violent crimes. To treat Victims with dignity and respect and to help ensure that this continues throughout their healing journey. To support, educate and empower those impacted by Crime.

Program areas at Crime Victims Assistance Network

Parole hearing victim support program - i-can provides Assistance to Victims going through the parole hearing process in California. I-can remains the only non-profit in the state to provide comprehensive services Victims attending parole hearings. We assure their vices are head and their rights are protected. Through this program, we provide provide information regarding the criminal justice system and general information on victim services and victim rights, referrals to other Assistance programs, crisis intervention, counseling, therapy, victim advocacy, Assistance applying for victim compensation funds, and emotional support. I-can assisted voer 1000 Victims through this program during 22/23.
Victim Assistance program - i-can assists thousands of Victims annually with information about the criminal justice system and general information on victim services and victim rights, referrals to other Assistance programs, crisis intervention, counseling, therapy, victim advocacy, Assistance applying for victim compensation funds, and emotional support. Through this program i-can runs support groups for pregnanat women coming from violent relationships or escaping trafficking. Emergency financial Assistance in the way of grocery cards and gas cards were proivded to over 100 Victims.
Outreach and education program - i-can launched our podcast in 2022 highlighting victim voices as they share their experiences through the criminal justice system. We provided outreach through public service announcements on radio and televison and through digital media outreach; produced three new educational videos and attended educational fairs and conferences. Over 300,000 individuals were reached through our outreach efforts in 2022.
