Program areas at Crisis Center of Dodge City
The Crisis Center provides a 24 hour hotline and took over 160 calls during the year. Advocacy services were provided for over 266 victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. 33 individuals were provided assistance with protection from abuse and stalking orders. The Center also provides 173 outreach support groups, to 1,625 participants, court advocacy, a referral agency, community education, and outreach services for surrounding counties.
The Organization runs a shelter house to provide crisis intervention, safe housing and supportive services for victims of domestic violence. Approximately 58 people were provided with shelter for 1,083 bed nights this year.
