Maintenance and management of invested funds to provide retirement and/or disability benefits to members. Funds are invested and managed to provide future benefits for 25 active firefighters and 2 inactive (benefits deferred)members. Benefits for 3 members were paid in 2022.
Raised funds in support of local government entities, schools, local community activities and needy individuals by selling pulltabs under state of Minnesota statute at licensed sites. Results from this operation are reported on part viii, line 9 and part ix, lines 1,2,5,&7. (double reporting of grants and wages is reversed by part ix, line 24 entry.)
Foster member education and activities with meetings, training sessions, supplies and miscellaneous expenses for active firefighters in service to the Crosby mn Fire Dept.
