We have broken away from the parent company of a boat racing competition that has been successful for 27 years. We are one of the largest sail boat races in the united states.the town where the event takes place is very involved, including the mayor. The grant is received by the town because the amount of money the event brings in to the resturant and hospitality industry. They are the main grants we receive to host the event.we have helped sailors at the local college of charleston by donating passes to the event as well as other sailors, and waiving entery fees for individuals.
