Program areas at Cudas Unhooked
Provide life skills to at-risk junior and senior high school students and to cover some expenses for seniors. We have an "open club" at the school that meets every Tuesday for 1 hour. There are between 10 to 25 students that participate.
Provide a live-in "house parent" to monitor the homeless students that live in the house. In 2016 a home was built on donated land near the high school. It is debt free with the help of the community. Provide mentors to students that assist them with school and personal life.
Provide a home and support for those homeless junior and senior high school students that will follow house rules and work towards their graduation. Also, they are required to have a part-time job and give back with community service hours. We have had 1 to 4 students at one time living at the house.
