Program areas at Cue Art Foundation

Exhibitions Program: CUEs exhibition program presents new and exceptionally strong work by emerging and underrecognized artists from across the United States, while providing these artists with exposure and resources to help them further their artistic careers. CUE currently exhibits artist work in solo exhibitions and group exhibitions, for which selected awardees are mentored by notable artists and curators. These exhibitions are selected through a national open call process.
Writing Program: The Art Critic Mentorship Program (ACMP) pairs emerging writers with art critic mentors to produce original long-form critical essays about the work of artists exhibiting in solo and group exhibitions at CUE. The program is open to writers of any age in the early stages of their careers. Essays commissioned through the program are published by CUE in full-color print exhibition catalogues, which are distributed at the gallery and are also made available and promoted online on CUEs website and social media.
Education Program: CUE Teen Collective is a free, year-long after school program for NYC high school students who are interested in exploring careers in the fine arts. Participants meet during the school year to investigate the contemporary art world, develop professional skills, and produce artwork for a group exhibition at CUEs gallery space. Through talks and workshops, field trips, and group critique, students learn from arts professionals, gaining exposure to various approaches and careers in the arts.
