Program areas at Curative Connections

Curative Connections helps people achieve their goals for independence, including people with cognitive and physical disabilities, people with neurological impairments, older adults, people with dementia, and youth and adults with mental health concerns. Programs include adult day care (including dementia-specific services), employment and training services, supportive services both in the home and elsewhere in the community, specialized learning programs, and specialized transportation services. Adult day services offer day program options for older adults and people with disabilities that benefit from a supportive social setting to engage with others, find meaning and purpose in their days, and continue to be a part of their community - with the goal of helping people maintain their community living situation through supportive services. 2023 - served 262 people; hours of operations: monday - friday 7am-5:30pm. All programs are certified through the state of wisconsin.transportation services provided 46,790 distinct trips through brown county for people with disabilities and vulnerable older adults, traveling 530,612 miles. The program uses 57 volunteers and 27 vehicles to transport people to and from a variety of appointments in the community to help them remain connected, safe and healthy. 2023 - served 890 people.brain rehab and wellness offers cognitive training classes for people with neurological impairments and those who have suffered a traumatic brain injury. We have a team of brain injury certified specialists and an occupational therapist to deliver a unique offering to our community. We are the only provider offering this kind of post-acute cognitive training classes. In 2023 61 individuals attended classes. 95% of those improved or maintained their functional cognitive skills. This service is available monday - friday 9am-3pm.
