Repurposing research In its main area of focus, the organization catalyzes clinical trials testing approved therapies by finding and facilitating these proof-of-concept clinical trials that, when successful, catalyze follow-on funding for further trials and publications in order to allow broad patient use. In FY 2023 14 new or expanded clinical trials were signed in rare diseases, ear nose throat, neurology and oncology 7 trials were completed or closed in oncology, rare diseases, neurology, and ear nose throat and 37 trials were still in progress - for a total of 44 ongoing trials as of 7/31/23.
