Program areas at Curran Homestead Village

The ice harvest at both campuses includes hands-on experiences with harvesting tools, cooking, horse drawn sleds. A maple sugaring and irish celebration features food, syrup production, horse drawn wagons, blacksmithing. Old home week features food, traditional arts, silent movies, music, and workshops. A harvest festival includes apple cider making, wagon rides, antique vehicle competition, music, arts & crafts, antique engine repair, and traditional arts. Children's classes include domestic arts, fiber arts, electric lamp building, crystal radios, telegraphy, letterpress printing, blacksmithing, and metal casting. Adult classes include knife making, blacksmithing, bookbinding, letterpress printing, woodworking, timber framing, propane forge making, domestic arts, fiber arts, and antique engine repair.
