In 2023, our Connected Dallas Digital Ambassadors program served over 3000 households of which 91 percent represented BIPOC populations and 78 percent live at 65% or less of the Average Median Income [identified as very low income by ARPA]. We supported residents through a number of programs to, support residents applying for the Affordable Connectivity Program and other affordable internet programs, access computers, provide one on one support, and learning digital skills.Utilized a converted school bus into a Wi-FI hotspot and classroom to provide both K-12 after school programming and support, as well as adult digital skills training to more than 500 children ages 5 to 14.
