Program areas at Union 10 FC Baldwin County
Recreational soccer is a program that is primarily devoted to the enjoyment and development of soccer players without the emphasis on travel or high level competition. The purpose of recreational soccer is to provide an opportunity for the participants to have fun, learn the sport and develop life skills including a lifelong love of the game. We will strive to instill a love for the game in our young players and cultivate that passion as each athlete matures. We will look to build pride in our individuals, our teams, and our club. We will do our best to foster an environment that allows each player to experience the thrill of healthy competition, participation and the challenge of improvement. The daphne strike recreation program takes pride in the growth of club members as athletes, students and responsible young men and women.
Eastern shore premier cup is atournament put on every spring by Union 10 FC Baldwin County. It involves teams from Alabama and out of state that travel to participate in the tournament.
At the ages of u13 through to the ages of u19, our club ' s goal is to produce competitive state level teams. These teams will compete in the league best suited for their current stage of development. We currently have all teams from u13 through u18/19 playing in the competitive division ii Alabama state league. Our goal as a club is to promote our teams, in time, to a higher division, i.e. Division i, gulf coast premier league, regional premier league, etc. Although competition is a larger factor at these ages we do not lose focus on the player and teams development. Tryouts are held for placement of players ability and players best interest. Teams travel within the state of Alabama and compete in tournaments both in state and out of state. Teams train two times a week with players having the option of an extra two practices a week. Players are held to a standard and are expected to train hard and are pushed to reach their highest soccer ability.
