Durham Neighborhood Compass: We undertook a new series of trainings for municipal and county staff on how to use this data website. We also began a series of metadata reviews and incorporated additional data updates from federal local and state data sources.
Hacking Into History: DataWorks coordinated a substantial cross-agency effort to begin data collection and community engagement related to the presence of racially-restrictive deed covenants in Durham County property records. We are working closely with the Durham County Register of Deeds Yinsome Group LLC North Carolina Central University and Research Action Design to map and publish data related to these covenants.
Durham Health Indicators: we continued maintenance on this site and updated data as it became available. We continued to work with Durham County Public Health and Duke Health to keep a steady workflow for sharing health data for this site.
