Program areas at Davidson County Community Action

Provided case management services to families and/or individuals in Davidson County who meet the eligibility guidelines of the Community services block grant program to achieve economic self-sufficiency. Services provided include assistance with participants completing educational/training programs, obtaining employment, and obtaining standard housing. Participants were provided emergency assistance with utilities, rent and transportation. One hundred sixty-six (104) families were enrolled during the year.
Local support was provided for emergency food assistance by maintaining a stocked pantry that was visited by 248 people during the year.
