Program areas at Dayton International Peace Museum

Teaching everyone to focus on problem areas and imagine possible solutions and plans of action for peaceful resolutions. To promote a world that seeks alternatives to war and violence and encourage compassion. Providing multiple activities encouraging Peace and diversity understanding including; both permanent and visiting exhibits, educational programming, and various performances, workshops, and speakers. Exhibitions: quarterly visiting exhibits (4) and permanent exhibit collections. Four annual visiting exhibits on specific historic or artistic topics with related workshops, speakers, receptions, and student-focused tours. Educational programming. Classes for students and teachers throughout the year. Organized school tours for public and private school students k-12, including underserved student populations and homeschooled students. Miscellaneous programming including music performances, workshops, and speakers. Among programs are the annual veteran's day concert, visiting performers, pride festival programs, exhibit-related programming, yoga, and a book club.
