Employment program - foster partnerships with employers to encourage hiring of individuals with disabilities. Create job opportunities for young adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and help maintain employment through ongoing supported employment services job coaching and assistance.
Employment support fund to assist supported participants with disabilities in need of financial assistance to maintain employment. Example of the type of assistance includes includes transportation expenses work clothes therapies to improve work behavior and sponsor activities that foster a network of support with peers.
Vacation club for supported participants to practice independent living skills - planning and budgeting for the trip following the proper procedures to request time off from their employer grocery shopping and cooking skills during the vacation and encouraging peer support. Facilitate monthly mingles to practice independent living skills while networking with peers.
A portion of the funds not in use are moved to a money market account to collect interest in support of the organization rather than having funds idle.
