Deaf Smith Electric Cooperative procures, develops, and distributes reliable electric energy to our customers through a well-built and maintained facility. Our mission is to provide electricity to rural areas at cost on a cooperative basis while providing supporting services that enhance our consumers' and employees' safety and quality of life. We sell electric energy to members on a cooperative basis through the allocation of patronage capital. At year end, there were 15,159 connected meters in operation.
